Fr. Donald K. Holland has accepted a call to serve as the Rector of Grace Episcopal Church. Before receiving the call to ministry, Fr. Holland was a parishioner at Grace. Previously, he served as a transitional deacon at King of Peace Episcopal Church in Kingsland, Georgia, and then as Priest-in-Charge of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Douglas, Georgia beginning in 2017. He resides in Waycross with his wife, Brandy, who is a teacher at Memorial Drive Elementary, and they have two daughters, Carli and Lilli.

Vestry
The Vestry is the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. Vestry members are elected at the annual parish meeting. The presiding officer of the vestry is the Rector. The Senior Warden leads the parish between rectors and is a support person for the rector. The Junior Warden has responsibility for church property and buildings. The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church's mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.
To be eligible for election to the vestry, one must be an adult confirmed communicant for at least one year prior to election who regularly attends Sunday services, is a giver of record and supports parish activities by attendance. Vestry members want to know how the church can serve its members and visitors better, so feel free to let us know your thoughts.
